For the 2008 season I have prepared some items...some are fresh off the drawing board, and some I have had unexhibited for years and I have decided that they now have a space, a logical space, in an exhibition...the exhibition is called "Ghosts '08" and we will kick it off at our favourite Red Bar Gallery, located at 52 SE 10th Street, Miami, FL, (right accross the street from Brickell Village), on Wednesday, 12 NOV 08 from 6 PM to 10PM there will be wine and munchies as well as BODO art and music by PrudenceMyDear AJA...Ghosts is a concept that has been in my head for months, slowly taking shape, slowly developing its form, its structure, its analogy...Ghosts is a sign of rebellion, and a sign of frustration, the figures have no mouth, no nose, no eyes, no organs filled with sensory cells or receptors, and other figures look distraught, look scared, look anxious and almost afraid to be present in the composition...Ghosts is a sign of contradiction and I, with my artistic statement present forth my desire for peace, for prosperity and for unity, world unity...well, we did kick GHOSTS off, it was great, thanks to all my friends who came by, we had a wonderful evening...now it is a permanent exhibition until December when we prepare for Art Basel Miami...more information to follow, keep in touch!
